Action Sought
Approve the application and grant a temporary on - sale liquor license to Shakopee Senior Graduation Party, Inc.
Introduction and Background
Shakopee Senior Graduation Party, Inc. has made application for a temporary on -sale intoxicating liquor license for
March 12, 2013, at Canterbury Park. They are planning a wine tasting event as a fund raiser for the annual Senior
All Night Graduation Party. State law permits wine tasting when conducted by a charitable, religious, or nonprofit
organization with a temporary on -sale intoxicating liquor license. They have been granted a license for the past
three years.
The application is in order. I have been in contact with the Police Chief regarding the application and he has no
issues with the approval of the license.

Requested Action
Move to approve the application and grant a temporary on -sale liquor license to Shakopee Senior Graduation Party,
Inc., for March 12, 2013, at Canterbury Park, 1100 Canterbury Road.
