(F) Action Sought Approve the application and grant a temporary on - sale liquor license to Shakopee Senior Graduation Party, Inc. Introduction and Background Shakopee Senior Graduation Party, Inc. has made application for a temporary on -sale intoxicating liquor license for March 12, 2013, at Canterbury Park. They are planning a wine tasting event as a fund raiser for the annual Senior All Night Graduation Party. State law permits wine tasting when conducted by a charitable, religious, or nonprofit organization with a temporary on -sale intoxicating liquor license. They have been granted a license for the past three years. The application is in order. I have been in contact with the Police Chief regarding the application and he has no issues with the approval of the license. Relationship to Vision This supports Goal F "Housekeeping" Requested Action Move to approve the application and grant a temporary on -sale liquor license to Shakopee Senior Graduation Party, Inc., for March 12, 2013, at Canterbury Park, 1100 Canterbury Road.
