Approve application and grant a temporary on -sale liquor license to the Minnesota Farm Winery Association.
Introduction and Background
The Minnesota Farm Winery Association has made application for a temporary on -sale intoxicating liquor license
for April 20, 2013, at Canterbury Park. They are planning a wine tasting event as a fund raiser for their programs.
State law permits wine tasting when conducted by a charitable, religious, or nonprofit organization with a
temporary on -sale intoxicating liquor license.
The application is in order. I have been in contact with the Police Chief regarding the application and he has no
issues with the approval of the license.

This supports Goal F "Housekeeping"
Requested Action
Move to approve the application and grant a temporary on -sale liquor license to the Minnesota Farm Winery
Association for April 20, 2013, at Canterbury Park, 1100 Canterbury Road.
