SUBJECT: Acceptance Resignation of Les TenEyck

INTRODUCTION:
Les TenEyck has submitted his resignation as a Police Officer for the Shakopee Police
Department. A copy of his resignation letter is included with this memo.
BACKGROUND:
Officer TenEyck started his full-time employment with the Police Department on
December 2, 1996. His last day of employment with the Shakopee Police Department
was Saturday May 8, 2004.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Council accept Les TenEyck's resignation.
ACTION REQUESTED:
If the Council concurs, they should, by motion, accept Les TenEyck's resignation.

I hereby resign from employment as a police officer with the Shakopee Police
Department effective May 8, 2004. I have enjoyed my tenure with the department andI have
decided to pursue other opportunities.
