SUBJECT: Application for On Sale 3.2 Percent Malt Liquor License
Costa Del Sol, Inc.
DATE: August 16, 2004
INTRODUCTION:
City Council is asked to consider the application of Costa Del Sol, Inc. for an on sale 3.2
percent malt liquor license.
BACKGROUND:
The City has received an application from Costa Del Sol, Inc. for an on sale 3.2 percent
malt liquor license at 815 East West 1 st Avenue.
The application is in order and the evidence of insurance is on order. The Police
Department has conducted the background investigation. Their report has found nothing
that would preclude issuance of the license. The customary building inspection will be
done before the license is issued.
The applicant has also made application for a Conditional Use Permit for a Class II
Restaurant. The application will be heard by the Board of Adjustment and Appeals on
August 19,2004.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the application and grant an on sale 3.2 percent malt liquor license to Costa Del
Sol, Inc. 815 East West 1 st A venue, conditioned upon meeting all requirements of the
City Code.
