This new home purchase fits my business situation. It is with regret that I must submit my resignation from the Shakopee EDAC effective August 30, 2004. While being involved with the EDAC here in the City of Shakopee, I have truly enjoyed working with you, city staff, the Mayor and City Council while trying to make a difference regarding economic development and the future direction of the City. I want to thank everyone for the opportunity to serve on the EDAC and I believe that there are many new unfounded leaders yet to step forward. I believe Shakopee has a very bright future and I will still get to observe its' progression from down the road. Thank you, Jeffrey Jansen -
