Cox, City Clerk SUBJECT: Application for Tobacco License Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4120 DATE: September 29,2004 INTRODUCTION: City Council is asked to consider an application for a tobacco license for Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4120, 220 West 2nd Avenue. BACKGROUND: Application has been made by Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4120, to sell tobacco at retail at 220 West 2nd Avenue. For training purposes, they plan on using the training material provided by the City from Minnesota ASSIST, Minnesota Department of Health and the American Cancer Society. The Police Department has conducted the customary background check and has learned of nothing that would prevent the issuance of a tobacco license.
