SUBJECT: Application for Tobacco License
Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4120

INTRODUCTION:
City Council is asked to consider an application for a tobacco license for Fraternal Order of Eagles
Aerie #4120, 220 West 2nd Avenue.
BACKGROUND:
Application has been made by Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4120, to sell tobacco at retail at 220
West 2nd Avenue. For training purposes, they plan on using the training material provided by the
City from Minnesota ASSIST, Minnesota Department of Health and the American Cancer Society.
The Police Department has conducted the customary background check and has learned of nothing
that would prevent the issuance of a tobacco license.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Move to approve the application and grant a tobacco license to Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie
#4120,220 West 2nd Avenue.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHAKOPEE,
MINNESOTA, that the following appointments are hereby made:
is appointed to the Economic Development Advisory Committee to fill the
unexpired tenn of Jeff Jansen expiring February 28,2006.
is appointed to the Plmming CommissionIBoard of Adjustment and Appeals
to fill the unexpired term of Larry Meilleur expiring February 28,2006.
Adopted in regular session of the City Council of the City of Shakopee, Minnesota, held
this 5th day of October, 2004.
