In the 2005 Budget, a full-time office service worker was included in the Public Works
Department. Currently, the Public Works Department has had a clerical person for 20

Staff utilized Scott County Personnel Department for the selection process in determining
the interview list. The interview panel consisted of the Public Works Director, Bruce
Loney; Public Works Supervisor, Mike Hullander; Payroll Benefits Clerk, Marilyn
Remer; and Terry Scherer, Records Specialist of the Police Department. A total of eight
persons were interviewed and after reviewing the results of the interview, application and

position and the employee is eligible for overtime pay. This person has agreed to the
starting wage of $l7.46l per hour, which is Grade 3, Step C ofthe 2005 Non-Union Pay
Plan.

Staff recommends the hiring of Jessica Adamietz as the Public Works Office Service
Worker at Grade 3, Step C ($17.461 per hour) of the 2005 Non-Union Pay Plan. Also,
