Dale has recommended we obtain this bus because of recent maintenance work done on it and it. has the least amount of mil~s. Deputy County Administrator Gary Shelton gave approval to keep this bus to be used by Safcom volunteers, etc. We then found out this bus is owned by the City of Shako pee. The purpose for this bus would be for Safcom volunteers to pull the Emergency Management trailer to different locations when it is needed. The safcom volunteers now pull this trailer with their own private vehicles. Their trailer is available to all municipalities, depending on the need (i.e. town events, rescues, large frres). Shakopee Police Dept.'recently used the trailer after a homicide in Shakopee. This weekend New Prague Police Dept wan,ted to uS,e on~ fortheir half marathon. " . .." ',/'i' '.' -, "",..
