SUBJECT: Application for a Massage Therapy Business License and Massage Therapist
Licenses
ACTION SOUGHT:
Pass a motion approving the applications and granting a massage therapy business license to J & M
Mocol, LLC and a massage therapist license to Victoria Vandriessche and Karrye Fiihr.
INTRODUCTION:
City Council is asked to consider the application for a massage therapy business license from J & M
Mocol, LLC and a massage therapist license from Victoria Vandriessche and Karrye Fiihr
BACKGROUND:
On September 4, 2012, the City Council adopted Ord. No. 860, requiring massage therapy businesses
and massage therapists to be licensed.
J & M Mocol, LLC (Jon Mocol and Kathleen Hofer - Mocol), dba I Zen Spa, has applied for a massage
therapy business license at 1667 17 Avenue East, Suite 107.
Victoria Vandriessche and Karrye Fiihr have applied for a massage therapist license.
During the customary background investigation, the Police Department has learned of nothing that
would prevent the issuance of the licenses.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. Approve the application and grant a massage therapy business license to J & M Mocol, LLC,
dba I Zen Spa, 1667 17 Avenue East, Suite 107.
2. Approve the applications and grant a massage therapist license to Victoria Vandriessche and
Karrye Fiihr.
