The goal of the UNIFIED ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT,
LAND USE, AND TRANSPORTATION PLAN is to develop
and implement aco -wide economic development strategy
and integrated land -use and transportation plan that helps
achieve the vision of providing enough jobs in Scott County
by 2030 to support 50% of the county's labor force, while
respecting the authority of the cities and townships within to
make planning decisions on the local level.

GOAL
We are doing this Unified Plan to better coordinate land use and
transportation planning decisions to promote economic development,
mobility, and safety within all communities in Scott County.
Corridor Review by Tech Team:
Critique planned locations for future commercial and industrial
development in the County and determine
a) if these corridors and interchange areas are in the right place given
existing and planned infrastructure and
b) what the realistic market is for these properties in the short and
long term.

Findings of City Administrators: Role of Business Manager
The primary desired role of an FSS Business Manager is
the ability to provide unbiased assistance to
municipalities

survey respondents as a necessary skill of an FSS Business
