Ciry of Shakopee ��° MEMORANDUM � ��v���� TO: Mayor and City Council Mark McNeill, City Administrator FROM: Kris Wilson, Assistant City Administrator ����" � SUBJECT: Successful Completion of Probationary Period —Community Service Officer Philip Sendelbach DATE: August 16, 2012 Introduction The City Council is asked to recognize Philip Sendelbach's successful completion of the six- month probationary period required of Civil Service employees and grant him full-time, regular status as a Community Service Officer(CSO) with the Shakopee Police Department. Background Philip Sendelbach began work as a CSO on February 27, 2012 and has now completed the six- month probationary period required for non-licensed Civil Service employees. Recommendation Chief Tate is pleased with the job performance and contributions of Mr. Sendelbach as a CSO and recommends that he be granted full-time, regular status as a Community Service Officer with the Shakopee Police Department. Requested Action If it concurs, the Council should offer a motion to grant Philip Sendelbach full-time, regular status as a Community Service Officer with the Police Department.
