Introduction
The City Council is asked to recognize Sarah Foley's successful completion of the initial
one -year probationary period and grant her full -time, regular status as a Recreation
Supervisor.
Background
Sarah Foley was hired as the Recreation Supervisor for Aquatics, Fitness and Senior
Programming on August 18, 2010. She has now completed the required one -year
probationary period for newly hired employees and her supervisor is pleased with her job
performance to date.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the Council recognize Ms. Foley's successful completion of the
one -year probationary period and grant her full -time, regular status as a Recreation
Supervisor.
Relationship to Vision
This item relates to Goal E: Deliver effective and efficient public services by a staff of
well- trained, caring and professional employees.
Requested Action
If it concurs, the Council should offer a motion to grant Sarah Foley full -time, regular
status as a Recreation Supervisor for the City of Shakopee.
