SUBJECT: Re- purchase agreement on John Deere Gator.
INTRODUCTION:
This item is for Council authorization to use the re- purchase agreement for unit #162 the John
Deere Gator for the price of $1,603.13.
BACKGROUND:
Public Works needs council authorization before utilizing the re- purchase agreement with Ag
Power, Inc. The agreement is as follows:
• John Deere Gator — at 1 year the re- purchase price is $1,500.00 up to 250 hours and $6.00
for every additional hour. There was slightly less than 250 hours so the total re- purchase
price with tax is $1,603.13. As in the past, Public Works will invoice Shakopee
Downtown Partnership for the re- purchase.
ALTERNATIVES:
1. Authorize staff to utilize the agreement.
2. Deny the authorization.
3. Table for more information.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends alternative no. 1.

ACTION REQUESTED:
Motion to direct staff to utilize the re- purchase agreement with Ag Power, Inc. on the John Deere
Gator for the price of $1,603.13. The purchase price to be funded out of the Internal Service
Equipment Fund, and direct staff to invoice Shakopee Downtown Partnership $1,603.13 to
reimburse the fund.
