— Community Service Officer Nathan Hook

Introduction
The City Council is asked to recognize Nathan Hook's successful completion of the six-month
probationary period required of Civil Service employees and grant him full-time, regular status
as a Community Service Officer (CSO) with the Shakopee Police Department.
Background
Nathan Hook began work as a CSO on September 9, 2011 and has now completed the six-month
probationary period required for non-licensed Civil Service employees.
Recommendation
Chief Tate is satisfied with the performance and contributions of Mr. Hook as a CSO and
recommends that he be granted full-time, regular status as a Community Service Officer with the
Shakopee Police Department.
Requested Action
If it concurs, the Council should offer a motion to grant Nathan Hook full-time, regular status as
a Community Service Officer with the Police Department.
