Cox, City Clerk � SUBJECT: Temporary Liquor License for a Wine Tasting Fund Raiser � DATE: January 11, 2012 i INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND: � The Shakopee Senior Graduation Party, Inc. has made application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for February 9, 2012, at Canterbury Park. They are planning a wine tasting event as a fund raiser for their annual All Night Graduation Party. State law permits wine tasting when conducted by a charitable, religious, or nonprofit organization with a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license. The application is in order. I have been in contact with the Police Department regarding this application. There is no problem with the activity. VISIONING RELATIONSHIP: I Goal F: Housekeeping RECOMMENDED ACTION: !
