INTRODUCTION
TheShakopee Police Department is seeking council approval to declare three vehicles as
surplus property.
BACKGROUND
A description of the vehicles:
1. 1994 Suzuki Swift, VIN: JS2AC35S0R5l00886
2. 1992 Plymouth Voyager, VIN: 2P4GH2536NR583530
3. 1992 Plymouth Acclaim, VIN: 1P3XA4639NF159916
These vehicles were obtained through a successful forfeiture proceeding and are not
suitable for City use. The vehicles will be sold at auction or junked.

This action supports:

Strategy 10: Ensure City's fiscal health
ALTERNATIVES
1. Authorize staff to declare the vehicles as surplus property.
2. Do not authorize.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends alternative one.
ACTION REQUESTED
If Council concurs, they should by motion declare the 1994 Suzuki Swift, VIN:
JS2AC35S0R5100886, 1992 Plymouth Voyager, VIN: 2P4GH2536NR5835 and the 1992
Plymouth Acclaim, VIN: 1P3XA4639NF15991630 as surplus property.
