INTRODUCTION
The Shakopee Police Department is seeking council approval to declare four vehicles as surplus property.
BACKGROUND
A description of the vehicles:
1. 1994 Lincoln Continental, VIN:ILNLM9741RY791647
2. 1994 Chevrolet S -10, VIN:1GCCSI9ZXR8180844
3. 1995 Dodge Neon, VIN:1B3ES42C2SD179718
4. 1999 Chevrolet Suburban, VIN:3GNFK16R3XG195993
The vehicles were obtained through successful forfeiture proceedings. The vehicles will be sold at auction.

This action supports:
Goal C: Maintain the City's Strong Financial Health
Strategy 10: Ensure City's Fiscal Health
ALTERNATIVES
1. Authorize staff to declare the vehicles as surplus property.
2. Do not authorize.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends alternative one.
ACTION REQUESTED
If Council concurs, they should by motion declare the 1994 Lincoln Continental,
VIN: 1LNLM9741RY791647; the 1994 Chevrolet S -10, VIN: 1GCCS19ZXR8180844; the 1995 Dodge
Neon, VIN: 1B3ES42C2SD179718 and the 1999 Chevrolet Suburban, VIN: 3GNFK16R3XG195993 as
surplus property.
