INTRODUCTION:
Council action is required for a resolution accepting work on the 2009 Street Reconstruction,
Project No. 2009 -2.
BACKGROUND:
All of the work for this project has been completed in accordance with the contract documents.
Attached is a Certificate of Completion showing the original contract amount of $955,836.68 and
the actual fmal costs of $968,485.15 for this project.

A Resolution Accepting Work On The
2009 Street Reconstruction
Project No. 2009 -2
WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Shakopee on May 22,
2009, Valley Paving, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the 2009 Street Reconstruction Project in
accordance with such contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SHAKOPEE, MINNESOTA that the work completed under said contract is hereby
accepted and approved.
