Action Sought
The Council is asked to declare nine forfeited vehicles as surplus property.
Background
The following vehicles were obtained through successful forfeiture proceedings:
1. 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis, VIN: 2MELM74W3VX734986
2. 2000 Honda Accord, VIN: 1HGCG1653YA010935
3. 2001 Ford Explorer, VIN: 1FMYU70E91UA10902
4. 2002 Buick Century, V1N: 2G4WS52J721229673
5. 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer, VIN: 1GNDT13S022404054
6. 2003 Lexus GS300, VIN: JT8BD69S330183000
7. 2007 Ford F-150, VIN: 1FTPW14V47FB18066
8. 2009 Ridley Motorcycle, VIN: 1R9SW23919K327047
9. 2009 Yamaha Motorcycle, V1N: JYAVP25E49A008378
After being declared surplus, they will be sold at auction and the proceeds, if any,
will be disbursed according to Minnesota State Statute.
