INTRODUCTION
The Shakopee Police Department is seeking council approval to declare three vehicles as surplus
property.
BACKGROUND
A description of the vehicles:
1. 1995 Chevrolet Camaro, VlN: 2G1FP22S5S2192185
2. 2000 Mitsubishi Galant, VIN: 4A3AA46G7YE135744
3. 2000 Dodge Dakota, VIN: 1B7GG26X3YS560721
The vehicles were obtained through successful forfeiture proceedings. The vehicles will be sold
at auction or junked.

ALTERNATIVES
1. Authorize staff to declare the vehicles as surplus property.
2. Do not authorize.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends alternative one.
ACTION REQUESTED
If Council concurs, they should by motion declare the 1995 Chevrolet Camaro, VIN:
2G1FP22S5S2192l85; the 2000 Mitsubishi Galant, VIN: 4A3AA46G7YE135744 and the 2000
Dodge Dakota, VIN: IB7GG26X3YS560721as surplus property.
