SUBJECT: Considering Parking Control Signage for
Crossings Boulevard, from Foothill Trail to Fescue Circle

INTRODUCTION:
This agenda item is to consider installing no parking control signs on Crossings
Boulevard, from Foothill Trail to Fescue Circle.
BACKGROUND:
At its March 4, 2010 Traffic Safety Review Committee meeting, the committee did
recommend installing no parking signs on Crossings Boulevard, from Foothill Trail to
Fescue Circle.
This no parking signage does match the parking restrictions to the west of Foothill Trail
on Crossings Boulevard. Crossings Boulevard is 37 feet wide and is projected to have
traffic over 3,000 vehicles per day. Attached is a map showing the area affected and also
the location of the proposed no parking signs on Crossings Boulevard.
AL TERNA TIVES:
1. Approve a motion authorizing the no parking signs on Crossings Boulevard, from
Foothill Trail to Fescue Circle.
2. Do not install no parking signs.
3. Table for additional information.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Traffic Safety Review Committee's recommendation was to install no parking signs
on Crossings Boulevard, from Foothill Trail to Fescue Circle and as shown on the
attached map.
ACTION REOUESTED:
Approve a motion authorizing the no parking signs on Crossings Boulevard, from
Foothill Trail to Fescue Circle.
