BACKGROUND A description ofthe vehicles: 1. 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass, VIN: 1G3WH52X9SD375696 2. 1999 Ford Taurus, VIN: 1FAFP53S3XG309288 3. 1999 Pontiac GrandAm, VIN: 1G2NE12E4XM713447 4. 1999 Ford F-350, VIN: 1FTSF31FOXEB14914 5. 2007 Chevrolet 1500 pickup, VIN: 2GCEK13M871533443 The vehicles were obtained through successful forfeiture proceedings. The vehicles will be sold at auction or junked. Visionin2: Relationship This action supports: Goal E: Financially Strong Strategy 10: Ensure City's Fiscal Health ALTERNATIVES 1. Authorize staff to declare the vehicles as surplus property. 2. Do not authorize. RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends alternative one. ACTION REQUESTED If Council concurs, they should by motion declare the 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass, VIN: 1G3WH52X9SD375696; the 1999 Ford Taurus, VIN: lFAFP53S3XG309288; the 1999 Pontiac Grand Am, VIN: 1G2NE12E4XM713; the 1999 Ford F-350, VIN: 1FTSF31FOXEB149l4; and the 2007 Chevrolet 1500 pickup, VIN: 2GCEK13M87l533443 as surplus property.
