SUBJECT: Representation to CSAH 101 Corridor Advisory Committee
MEETING DATE: May 19,2009
INTRODUCTION:
Scott County, its consultant and the City are moving forward with the study for the
reconstruction of CSAH 101 from CR 17 to Fillmore Street. As a part of the public
process, it is proposed that a Corridor Advisory Committee (CAC) be established, and
meet several times throughout the summer. The first meeting is scheduled to occur on
June 4,2009 in the Police Department Training Room from 7:00 - 9:00 a.m.
The composition of the CAC would be elected officials, representatives of the business
and residential communities along the corridor. Council is asked to name two (2)
representatives from the City Council to the CAC. It is also asked to provide staff with
names of individuals that the Council feels may serve well in the role of residential
landowner representatives.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Council is asked to take two (2) actions:
First, Council is asked to name two (2) members of the Council to be representatives to
the CSAH 101 Corridor Advisory Committee.
Second, Council is asked to provide the names of persons that it feels might serve well in
the role of residential land owner representatives to the CAe.
