Mr. Themig,.
As we have recently spoken
I am taking this opportunity to let you know of my decision to give up
my seat on the Shakopee Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
Do to recent changes in my "Family" structure, incl. my two boys school
and extracirrular activities, etc., it has become increasingly difficult
to regularly attend the Monday night PRAB meetings.
It is my opinion, that the board would be better served by an
individual(s) who can provide the Doard and thus the community with more
dedicated time and be more available than I at this time.
Please be advised that this decision was in no way made through , < "~', '
frustration, discontent nor without a great deal of thought.
I had pride when telling people that I serve on the PRAB and felt it a
great privilege to work and discuss important issues with yourself and
the other individuals on this board. The other PRAB members were a great
group of people who are very commited and passionate about their
community. Being on the PRAB made myself and my boys feel as though we
were a part of the Shakopee community, instead of just residing in it.
If at all possible, I would still like to be considered for continued
participation on the Second sheet of Ice committee and the Community
Center expansion discussion group.
Maybe in the future, when personal time constraints diminish, I could
once again become active on a Shakopee committee or Board.
Thank you for all your time, professionalism and support during my time
on the Shakopee PRAB
If you feel it appropriate, please forward this to the other members of
the PRAB and thank them for their patience with my "sometimes" odd-ball
ideas and "stupid", questions.
Thank you once again, It was a pleasure working with you. Hope to work
with you again in the future
Respectfully,
Tim R. Williams
