Cox, City Clerk SUBJECT: Temporary Liquor Licenses - Church of St. Mary DATE: February 26, 2004 INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND: The Church of St. Mary has made applications for temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor licenses for their Irish Dinner on March 14,2004 and for their Feast and Fun Festival on June 26-27, 2004. I have been in contact with the Deputy Chief of Police regarding these applications. These events are something that have been going on for a number of years. There is no problem with these activities. Their applications and insurance certificates are in order. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Move to approve the applications and grant temporary on-sale liquor licenses to the Church of St. Mary, 535 South Lewis Street, for March 14,2004 and June 26-27, 2004, conditioned upon meeting all requirements of the City Code.
