I live in Shakopee and across the street from my house
an Interstate Trucking company plans to build its national headquarters, as well as -'Efziles,
parts and service. This is a 5 phase plan that includes a sales facility for large sca.le
generators. The land is currently zoned light industrial and they are requesting a I
conditional permit to be able to sell their trucks. I do not believe this company is
nlight industrial" and I. am concerned about the health of my children. Please help me
convince the Shakopee Planning Commission to not permit this truck facility to build
across from my house. What can I do? I feel helpless because the city wants the money
that ~his trucking industry wi~l~ing to th~community at a serious cost to my health and
my chlldrens heal th. Please gl ve e-.some ,g'U:ldp.nc~!
