SUBJECT: Completion of Probationary Period - Jennifer Worm

Introduction
The City Council is asked to recognize Jennifer Worm's successful completion of the six-
month probationary period associated with her recent promotion and grant her full-time
regular status as a Records Technician with the Shakopee Police Department.
Background
Jennifer.Worm was promoted from Community Service Officer to Police Records
Technician, effective September 29.,2008. The rules of the Civil Service Commission
require a 6-monthprobationary period for such promotions, which Ms. Worm has now
c~mpleted to the satisfaction of her supervisors.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the Council recognize Ms. Worm's successful completion of the
six-month probationary period and grant her full-time regular status as a Records
Technician with the Shakopee Police Department.
Requested Action
Ifit concurs, the Council should offer a motion to grant Jennifer Worm full-time, regular
status as a Records Technician with the Shakopee Police Department. w
