Subject: Surplus Property

INTRODUCTION
The Shakopee Police Department is seeking council pproval to declare four vehicles as
surplus property.
BACKGROUND
A description of the vehicles:
1. 1994 Toyota Camry, VIN: 4T1GKllE8RU 19581
2. 1995 Mercury Mystique, VIN: IMELM653 SK601174
3. 1996 Chrysler Cirrus, VIN: lC3E156H5TN 75890
4. 1996 Ford Thunderbird, VIN: 1FALP6242 H182582
The vehicles were obtained through successful for eiture proceedings and are not suitable
for City use. The vehicles will be sold at auction r junked.

ALTERNATIVES
1. Authorize staff to declare the vehicles as surplus property.
2. Do not authorize.

Staff recommends alternative one.
ACTION REQUESTED
If Council concurs, they should by motion declare the 1994 Toyota Camry, VIN:
4TIGK13E8RU019581, the 1995 Mercury Mystique, VIN: IMELM6535SK601174, the
1996 Chrysler Cirrus, VIN: lC3EJ56H5TN275890, and the 1996 Ford Thunderbird, VIN:
IFALP6242TH182582 as surplus property.
