SUBJECT: Temporary Liquor Licenses - Church of St. Mark
DATE: January 14,2008
INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND:
The Church of St. Mark has made application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license
for February 14,2009 (Winterfest) and for July 25 and 26, 2009 (Julifest).
I have been in contact with the Police Department regarding these applications. These events are
something that have been going on for a number of years. There is no problem with these
activities.
The applications are in order and the certificate of insurance for the February 14th event is in
order. The certificate of insurance for the July event will be provided when it gets closer to the
event. The license will not be issued until the required proof of insurance is received.
VISIONING RELATIONSHIP:
Goal A: Active and healthy community

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Move to approve the applications and grant temporary on-sale liquor licenses to the Church of St.
Mark, 350 South Atwood Street, for February 14,2009 and July 25 and 26, 2009, conditioned
upon meeting all licensing requirements.
