INTRODUCTION
The Shakopee Police Department is seeking council approval to declare four vehicles as
surplus property.
BACKGROUND
A description ofthe vehicles:
1. 1996 Dodge Avenger, VIN: 4B3AU52NOTE25326l
2. 2002 Ford Explorer, VIN: IFMDU74W82ZA87072
3. 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier, VIN: 1GIJH52FX37307496
4. 2005 Chevrolet Colorado, VIN: 1GCDT136858l27523
The vehicles were obtained through successful forfeiture proceedings and are not suitable
for City use. The vehicles :will be sold at auction or junked.

1. Authorize staff to declare the vehicles as surplus property.

ACTION REQUESTED
If Council concurs, they should by motion declare the 1996 Dodge Avenger, VIN:
4B3AU52NOTE25326l, the 2002 Ford Explorer, VIN: lFMDU74W82ZA87072, the
2003 Chevrolet Cavalier, VIN: IGUH52FX37307496, and the 2005 Chevrolet Colorado,
VIN: IGCDT136858127523 as surplus property.
