General Business Si 1 \KOI'EE TO: Mayor and City Council FROM: Kris Wilson, Acting City Administrator DATE: 02/17/2015 SUBJECT: Approval of Position Profile and Authorization to Advertise for City Administrator Action Sought The Council is asked to approve the attached position profile for the position of City Administrator and authorize Ms. Sharon Klumpp of Waters & Company Executive Recruitment to proceed with advertising for applicants. Background A first draft of the position profile for City Administrator was reviewed with the Council at its February 3 meeting. Changes suggested during that meeting and in follow-up contacts between individual Council members and Ms. Klumpp have been incorporated into the text of the profile. Kristin Holtz, the City's Communications Coordinator, has added graphics and pictures to complement the text and align the document with the look and feel of the City's other print communications. Also attached for Council's information is an updated schedule for the City Administrator hiring process. Requested Action The Council is asked to approve the attached position profile for the position of City Administrator and authorize Ms. Sharon Klumpp of Waters & Company Executive Recruitment to proceed with advertising for applicants.
