SUBJECT: Temporary Liquor License - MN Farm Winery Association (F)
Action Sought
The Council is asked to authorize the issuance of a temporary liquor license for a
MN Farm Winery Association event to be held April 25 at Canterbury Park.
Background
The MN Farm Winery Association has made application for a temporary on-sale
liquor license for April 25, 2015, at Canterbury Park Event Pavilion. They are
planning a wine tasting event as a fund raiser for their programs. State law permits
wine tasting when conducted by a charitable, religious, or non-profit organization
with a temporary on-sale liquor license.
The application is in order. I have been in contact with the Police Department
regarding this application and they have no concerns regarding the approval of this
application.
