(E) Action Sought Move to authorize the purchase of one(1) new tractor and snowblower for the price of$89,151.60 from Ag Power Enterprises Inc. and one (1) new V-Plow for the price of$5,200.00 from Schilz Ornamental Iron, Inc. Background Public Works identified a need in the 2015 Capital Equipment Budget to purchase an additional tractor for the Parks Maintenance Division. This tractor will be used for athletic field turf maintenance and trail snow removal. Staff is requesting to purchase the tractor and snow blower from Ag Power Enterprises, Inc. and the V-Plow to be fabricated from Schilz Ornamental Iron, Inc. Staff will be using State Bid Pricing#74050 for the tractor and snow blower purchase. This tractor will also have an eighteen month re-purchase agreement. Recommendation Staff recommends these purchases. Budget Impact Funding to be expended from the Capital Equipment Internal Service Fund. Relationship to Vision E. Deliver effective and efficient public services by a staff of well-trained caring and professional employees. Requested Action Move to authorize the purchase of one(1) new tractor and snowblower for the price of$89,151.60 from Ag Power Enterprises Inc. and one (1) new V-Plow for the price of$5,200.00 from Schilz Ornamental Iron Inc.
