BACKGROUND A description of the vehicles: 1. 1988 Dodge Dakota, VIN: 1B7GR14X3JS609073 2. 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, VIN: 2G1WX12XSS9104944 3. 1996 Nissan Altima, VIN: 1N4BU31DOTC130627 4. 2003 Nissan Sentra, VIN: 3N1CBS1DX3L787877 The vehicles were obtained through successful forfeiture proceedings and are not suitable for City use. The vehicles will be sold at auction or junked. Visioning Relationship This action supports: Goal E: Financially Strong Strategy 10: Ensure City's Fiscal Health ALTERNATIVES 1. Authorize staff to declare the vehicles as surplus property. 2. Do not authorize. ro. ? ~ RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends alternative one. ACTION REQUESTED 5. If Council concurs, they should by motion declare the 1988 Dodge Dakota, VIN: 1B7GR14X3JS609073, the 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, VIN: 2G1WX12XSS9104944, the 1996 Nissan Altima, VIN: 1N4BU31DOTC130627, and the 2003 Nissan Sentra, VIN: 3N1CBS1DX3L787877 as surplus property. RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends alternative one. ACTION REQUESTED 5.
