INTRODUCTION
The Shakopee Police Department is seeking council approval to declare four vehicles as
surplus property.
BACKGROUND
A description of the vehicles:
1. 1988 Dodge Dakota, VIN: 1B7GR14X3JS609073
2. 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, VIN: 2G1WX12XSS9104944
3. 1996 Nissan Altima, VIN: 1N4BU31DOTC130627
4. 2003 Nissan Sentra, VIN: 3N1CBS1DX3L787877
The vehicles were obtained through successful forfeiture proceedings and are not suitable
for City use. The vehicles will be sold at auction or junked.

1. Authorize staff to declare the vehicles as surplus property.

5. If Council concurs, they should by motion declare the 1988 Dodge Dakota, VIN:
1B7GR14X3JS609073, the 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, VIN:
2G1WX12XSS9104944, the 1996 Nissan Altima, VIN: 1N4BU31DOTC130627,
and the 2003 Nissan Sentra, VIN: 3N1CBS1DX3L787877 as surplus property.
RECOMMENDATION
