INTRODUCTION
The Shakopee Police Department is seeking council approval to declare three vehicles as
surplus property.
BACKGROUND
A description of the vehicles:
1. 1993 Toyota Corolla, VIN: 2TIAE04E5PC024824
2. 1996 Ford Explorer, VIN: IFMDU35Pl TUD47424
3. 2001 Ford F-150, VIN: 2FTRX18L71CA78583
The vehicles were obtained through successful forfeiture proceedings and are not suitable
for City use. The vehicles will be sold at auction or junked.

ALTERNATIVES
1. Authorize staff to declare the vehicles as surplus property,
2. Do not authorize.
RECOMMENDA TION
Staff recommends altemative one.
ACTION REQUESTED
If Council concurs, they should by motion declare the 1993 Toyota Corolla, VIN:
2TIAE04E5PC024824, the 1996 Ford Explorer, VIN: IFMDU35PITUD47424, and
the 2001 Ford F-150, VIN: 2FTRX18L71CA78583 as surplus property.
