INTRODUCTION
The Shakopee Police Department is seeking council approval to declare three vehicles as
surplus property.
BACKGROUND
A description of the vehicles:
1. 2002 Ford F-150 Pickup, VIN:1FTRW08L22KA76931
2. 1997 Chevrolet Lumina, VIN: 2G1WL52M8V1184073
3. 1992 Buick Skylark, VIN: 1G4NJ54N9NC649447
These vehicles were obtained through successful forfeiture proceedings and are not
suitable for City use. The vehicles will be sold at auction.

ALTERNATIVES
1. Authorize staff to declare vehicles as surplus property.
2. Do not authorize.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends alternative one.
ACTION REOUESTED
If Council concurs, they should by motion declare the 2002 Ford F -150 Pickup,
VIN: 1 FTR W08L22KA 76931, the 1997 Chevrolet Lurnina,VIN: 2G 1 WL52M8Vl184073,
and the 1992 Buick Skylark, VIN: 1G4NJ54N9NC649447 as surplus property.
