Re: Park and Recreation Advisory Board
Dear Mr. Themig:
As we discussed on July 24, I will be resigning from the Shakopee Park and
Recreation Advisory Board effective September 1,2006. Due to new
responsibilities at work and increased expectations with those responsibilities, I
will be unable to commit the time to the PRAB that J have been able to in the
past.
I am very disappointed to resign, but I feel that it is in the best interest for the
citizens of Shakopee that they have an advisory board member that can put
more time into the board, This is a very exciting, yet challenging, time for the
city's parks and recreation programs as the population is growing and there are
always new needs to meet. You, your staff, and the other PRAB members have
done a great job in trying to meet these ever changing needs.
I have enjoyed the past three years serving as a board member, and I appreciate
the City Council giving me the opportunity to be a part of the board.
Sincerely,
E::LUu~
Elise Durbin
