(C, E) Action Sought Move to authorize staff to utilize the re-purchase agreement with Ag Power Enterprises, Inc. for unit#132, 2013 John Deere 5085 tractor for the price of$7,000.00 with the funds to be expended from the Internal Service Equipment Fund. Background Public Works has re-purchase agreements With Ag Power Enterprises, Inc. for four 5085 tractors, three 1445 mowers and one JD Gator. These agreements are of excellent value as they are typically less than the Internal Service Fund rental rate and provides the city with equipment that is always under warranty. The agreement for the 5085 tractors are $4,000.00 up to 250 hours and $12.00 for every additional hour over 250. Staff is estimating the current unit#132 will have 500 hours of use at the time of re-purchase which equates to a cost of$7,000.00. Funding for this purchase is to come from the Internal Service Equipment Fund. Recommendation Staff recommends approval of the re-purchase agreement. Budget Impact Funding comes from the Internal Service Equipment Fund. Relationship to Vision C. Maintain the City's strong financial health. E. Deliver effective and efficient public services by a staff of well-trained, caring, and professional employees.
