BACKGROUND A description of the vehicles: 1. 1990 Ford Ranger, VIN: 1FTCR15XSLPA54789 2. 1992 Pontiac Transport Van, VIN: 1 GMDU06L7NT239697 3. 1992 Mitsubishi Galant, VIN: JA3CR46VSNU030039 4. 1993 Chevrolet Corsica, VIN: 1G1LT53TOPY223201 5. 1994 Ford Explorer, VIN: 1FMDU34X6RUA15053 6. 1995 Buick Century, VIN: 1G4AGSSM4S6475977 7. 1996 Cadillac Devine, VIN: 1G6KD52YOTU259231 The vehicles were obtained through successful forfeiture proceedings and are not suitable for City use. The vehicles will be sold at auction or junked. Visioning Relationsh^p This action supports: Goal E: Financially Strong Strategy 10: Ensure City's Fiscal Health ALTERNATIVES 1. Authorize staff to declare the vehicles as surplus property. 2. Do not authorize. RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends alternative one.
