SUBJECT: Kris Wilson Probationary End
DATE: May 31,2007
INTRODUCTION:
The Council is asked to acknowledge the successful completion ofthe initial one year
probationary employment period for Assistant City Administrator Kris Wilson, and grant
her full time regular status.
BACKGROUND:
Kris Wilson was promoted to Assistant City Administrator from the previous position of
the Assistant to the City Administrator, on June lih, 2006. As is standard, she had a one
year probationary period following her promotion.
During this time, she has taken on many restructured job duties, including responsibility
for the City's human resources function, and supervisor of the City's IT staff, She has
performed very well, and should be afforded full time regular status.
RELATIONSHIP TO VISIONING:
This supports Goal F - "Housekeeping".
RECOMMENDATION:
I recommend that the probationary period fKris Wilson be acknowledged as
successfully completed, and that she be gr ted full time regular status.
ACTION REQUIRED:
If the Council concurs, it should, by motio ,acknowledge the successful completion of
the one year probationary period followin her promotion to Assistant City
Administrator, and further grant Kris Wils n full time regular employee status.
