Move to authorize the purchase of one (1) new cab & chassis from Midway Ford Commercial for the price of $34,196.00, one (1) new box & hoist package from Crysteel Truck Equipment for the price of $17,543.68 and one (1) new 10 foot Boss V -plow from Crysteel Truck Equipment for the price of $7,629.00. The funds to be expended from the Sanitary Sewer Enterprise fund. 2. Move to declare the 2000 Ford F550, VIN #1FDAF57S5YEE09337 as surplus equipment to be sold at auction. Background Public Works budgeted to replace truck unit 4128 in the 2014 Sanitary Sewer Enterprise Fund. Unit 4128 is a 2000 Ford F550 4x4 Dual Wheel Truck and staff is requesting to replace with a new 2015 Ford F550 4x4 Dual Wheel Truck. Staff is also requesting to purchase a new box, hoist and V -plow for this unit. Total price for this purchase is $59,368.68. Staff will be utilizing State Bid Pricing Contracts #77464, 469462 and 473055. The funding for this purchase is to be expended from the Sanitary Sewer Enterprise Fund. The existing truck will be sold at auction. Recommendation Staff recommends this purchase. Budget Impact Funding to be expended from the Sanitary Sewer Enterprise Fund. Relationship to Vision E.
