SUBJECT: Approve the Application for a Temporary On -sale Liquor License to the Minnesota
Farm Winery Association (F)
Action Sought
The Minnesota Farm Winery Association has made application for a temporary on -sale
intoxicating liquor license for April 26, 2014, at Canterbury Park. They are planning a wine
tasting event as a fund raiser for their programs. State law permits wine tasting when conducted
by a charitable, religious, or non - profit organization with a temporary on -sale intoxicating liquor
license.
The application is in order. I have been in contact with the Police Department regarding this
application. There is no problem with approving the application.

Recommended Action
Move to approve the application and grant a temporary on -sale liquor license to the Minnesota
Farm Winery Association for April 26, 2014, at Canterbury Park, 1100 Canterbury Road.
