SUBJECT: Council February Workshop -- Policy Priority Discussion
Introduction
Background
At the January 21st City Council meeting, Mayor Tabke asked that each member of Council
submit policies which he or she would like to see the Council consider as the City moves into the
future. A sample sheet was distributed. The Councilors submitted their priorities as requested.
A summary sheet showing all of the policy statements, and policy priorities, will be distributed at
the workshop, which will be part of the February 5th Council meeting..
Financial Director Julie Linnihan, will facilitate discussion. Ms. Linnihan has had experience
conducting Council retreats and goal setting sessions in other communities, and I am pleased that
she is available to do this for Shakopee.
Action Required

which the City organization can move forward.
