SUBJECT: Successful Completion of Probationary Period -- Police Officer Philip Sendelbach (E)
Action Sought
The Council is asked to recognize Officer Philip Sendelbach's successful completion of the
one-year probationary period required for new police officers and grant him full-time, regular
status.
Background
Officer Sendelbach was hired as a Community Service Officer in February of 2012 and promoted
to a police officer position on September 24, 2012. He has now completed the one-year
probationary period required of new officers.
Recommendation
Chief Tate is pleased with Officer Sendelbach's job performance to date and recommends that he
be granted full-time, regular status as a police officer.

This item relates to Goal E: Deliver effective and efficient public services by a staff of
well-trained, caring and professional employees.
Requested Action
The Council is asked to recognize Philip Sendelbach's successful completion of the one-year
probationary period and grant him full-time, regular status as a Police Officer.
