SUBJECT: Approval of Temporary Liquor License-Shakopee Area Catholic Schools (F)
Action Sought
Approve the application and grant a temporary on-sale liquor license to the Shakopee Area
Catholic Schools for October 4, 2013 at 2700 17th Avenue East.
Introduction and Background
The Shakopee Area Catholic Schools has made application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating
liquor license for October 4, 2013, at 2700 17th Avenue East. They are hosting an Adult's Only
Social Evening. State law permits the issuance of a teinporary on-sale liquor license to a
charitable, religious, or nonprofit organization.
The application is in order. I have been in contact with Police Captain Craig Robson regarding the
application and he has no issues with the approval of the license.

This supports Goal F "Housekeeping"
Requested Action
Approve the application and grant a temporary on-sale liquor license to the Shakopee Area
Catholic Schools for October 4, 2013 at 2700 17th Avenue East.
