SUBJECT: Project Coordinator Resignation
DATE: December 20, 2005
INTRODUCTION:
Council is asked to accept the resignation of Ray Ruuska, Project Coordinator, effective
January 4,2006.
BACKGROUND:
Ray Ruuska was first hired by the City as a Engineering Technician IV on May 7, 1979.
He has been employed by the City for over 26 years and serving as an Engineering
Technician and Project Coordinator in the Engineering Department. Per Mr. Ruuska's
letter, his last day with the City would be on January 4,2006.
Staff is asking Council to accept his resignation and would bring back a resolution of
appreciation for Council to approve at its January 3,2006 Council meeting.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Council accept Ray Ruuska's resignation as Project
Coordinator, with regrets, effective January 4,2006.
ACTION REQUESTED:
If the City Council concurs it should by motion accept, with regrets, accept the
resignation of Ray Ruuska as Project Coordinator, effective January 4,2006.
