Mark,
I am resigning my position on the advisory board. I have missed 2 months in a row due to work and vacation,
and I will be missing this month due to a business trip as well. To make matters worse, I need to schedule a
business trip to France for the end of September. I can no longer see a scenario where I will have the time
needed to dedicate to the park board, so it is better that I allow someone else to take on the challenge.
I have enjoyed sitting on the Park Board, and I appreciate the opportunity. I apologize for the impersonal E-
Mail instead of talking to you in person, but my new job has me much busier than I was in the past. Please
call me at 952-496-2035 (eves) if you have any questions Or concerns.
Kindest Regards,
Brian Madden

Attached is the preliminary agenda for next Monday's regular meeting. As you will see, we .have devoted a
significant amount of time to review the preliminary 2006 operating budget request, 2006 work plan, and
revised capital improvement program.
As always, please let me know if you have any additions, deletions, or changes that you would like made.
Mark
