FROM: Judith S. Cox, City Clerk
SUBJECT: Off Sale 3.2 Percent Malt Liquor License and Tobacco License
Holiday Stationstores, Inc.
DATE: July 13, 2005
INTRODUCTION:
City Council is asked to consider applications of Holiday Stationstores, Inc. for an off
sale 3.2 percent malt liquor (beer) license and a tobacco license.
BACKGROUND:
Holiday Stationstores, Inc. has made application for an off sale beer license and a tobacco
license for their new store at 3901 Eagle Creek Boulevard.
The applications are in order and the evidence of insurance is in order. The Police
Department has conducted the background investigation. The investigation has produced
nothing that would prohibit the issuance of the licenses.
Because this is a new store under construction, the Building Department will be
conducting a final inspection and issuing a Certificate of Occupancy. The licenses will
not be released until the Certificate of Occupancy is issued.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the applications and grant an off sale 3.2 Percent Malt Liquor License and a
Tobacco License to Holiday Stationstores Inc., 3901 Eagle Creek Boulevard, conditioned
upon the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy.
