SUBJECT: Acceptance of Community Service Officer Jacob Rudolph
Resignation
DATE: July 5, 2005
INTRODUCTION:
Jacob Rudolph has submitted his resignation as a probationary community service
officer, for the Shakopee Police Department.
BACKGROUND:
Community Service Officer Rudolph's last day of employment with the Shakopee Police
Department was June 20, 2005. The Shakopee Police Department is seeking Council
authorization to continue the testing process to fill the vacant position.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Council accept Jacob Rudolph's resignation and request the
Shakopee Police Civil Service Commission continue the testing process to fill this
position.
ACTION REQUESTED:
If the Council concurs, they should, by motion, accept Jacob Rudolph's resignation and
authorize the Shakopee Police Civil Service Commission to continue the testing process
to fill the vacant community service officer position.
